Today, Lightning in a Bottle announced the Yoga & Movement lineup for their return to Buena Vista Lake in Bakersfield, CA over Memorial Day Weekend. Since its inception, Lightning in a Bottle has strived to give its attendees the opportunity to relax and unwind their minds and souls through a vast array of interactive yoga, dance, movement, and healing classes.
LIB attendees are invited to take part alongside world-renowned instructors, underneath the shade of the kaleidoscopic Do LaB structures. This year, celebrated movement practitioners will be available to support and teach participants of all skill levels in their journey to find their center. Classes and workshops include breathwork and pranayama meditation with Koya Webb, finding your intuitive self with Caley Alyssa, slow flow yoga with Dr Cat Meyer, and back bends through purva pratana sthiti with Yogi Zain.
The roster of seasoned instructors continues with a challenge of strength and balance from AcroYoga expert Andrew Sealy, a Kundalini yoga experience from Jai Dev, and deep stretch and tension release with Ella Cojocaru. Dancer-scientist-yogini-mystic veteran, Michelle Bouvier, will help attendees connect with their bodies through spiral and primal movement medicinal practices, while international Master Yoga Instructor Christi Christensen and house music savant Marques Wyatt bring their collaborative Deep Exhale experience to LIB, which results in a symphony of soul worship, sacred music and bodily expression.
Through practicing new experiences outside in nature, LIB creates one of a kind spaces for dancers, yoga enthusiasts, and movers to take a load off and regenerate their energy. From Vinyasa to Kundalini, Ecstatic Dance to Sound Healing, there is something for everyone. Classes are available from the early morning through the evening at two movement spaces, Luna Yoga and Yoga Sol where all are welcome.
